Education

Franklin Soil and Water’s Environmental Education Team provides interactive programs to students and youth organizations across Franklin County. Our goal is to share educational opportunities that connect youth to the local environment and instill a strong sense of environmental stewardship, specifically the conservation, protection and improvement of soil and water resources. All programs are correlated to Ohio’s Science Learning Standards and include models, simulations, interactive activities and/or literature connections. Education programs are made possible with support from Franklin County Commissioners, City of Columbus, participating Municipalities, Villages and Townships.
