This medium-sized (4-6 feet), adaptable shrub has a mounding habit with arching branches. It prefers part shade to shade and likes dry to moist soils. It features attractive, showy clusters of magenta berries in fall. This easy to grow shrub provides both cover and food for wildlife, especially when allowed to naturalize. Songbirds, ground birds, small mammals, and browsers use this plant for food, cover, and nesting sites. Coralberry supports beneficial insects and native bees.
