Ohio’s state tree has a height range of 20-40’. Perfect for an understory setting, it prefers part-shade in youth, growing into full sun. Fall color is deep orange-red and both the flower and buckeye nut fruit is valued by many kinds wildlife, including hummingbirds, songbirds and squirrels. Tolerant of black walnuts trees and urban settings.
