Come celebrate Ohio Stormwater Awareness Week with the Franklin Soil and Water Education Team. Stormwater Awareness Week is a regional effort that encourages communities (and the groups that care about them) to raise stormwater awareness via newsletters and social media posts, or with fun and educational events and will take place October 18-24, 2020.
Come join our Education team as we explore and take a closer look at the mighty macroinvertebrates living in our local streams and rivers. We’ll investigate what macros are, their amazing adaptations and what their presence (or absence) means with regards to water quality. Participants will also receive tips for wading into local watersheds to discover macros on their own!
